Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior z/OS Database System Engineer
(DB2, IMS/DB).
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable database solutions utilizing DB2,
IMS/DB, and data sharing technologies
Manage and optimize database system performance, ensuring high
availability and responsiveness
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide effective
database system solutions and technical leadership
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or
related field with at least 7 years of experience
7 years of experience in DB2 and IMS/DB system administration and
programming
Proficiency in DB2 and IMS/DB subsystem design, implementation, and
security
Experience with managed service providers and offshore support
teams
Strong understanding of database performance tuning and
optimization tools
