Job Description:

A Line Service Technician provides customer service and operates ground equipment to safely provide services for general aviation aircraft, crews, and passengers.

This role requires a team player with excellent communication skills, able to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks and drug tests.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Operate ground service equipment, such as fuel trucks, de-icing trucks, and stair trucks
  
• Provide fueling, de-icing, and other services to aircraft
  
• Load and unload luggage and cargo
  
• Drive shuttle vehicles with passengers and/or luggage and cargo
  
• Offer and promote general aviation services to crewmembers, customers, and other guests
  
• Maintain safe, clean, and secure ramps and operations
  
• Perform various functions, such as fueling and de-icing, from elevated heights
  
• Read, understand, and follow company policies, safety procedures, and relevant laws and regulations
  
• Work well as part of a team, get along with others, and follow lawful directions and instructions
  
• Prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  
• Handle stressful situations and high-profile clientele with poise, effectiveness, and professionalism
  
• Independently and proactively prepare for arriving and departing aircraft, identify and perform open job tasks, and speak up about observed safety concerns
  
  
  Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
    
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
    
  • A valid state driver's license
    
  • Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and receive an airport security badge
    
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment
    
  • Ability to successfully complete Signature's training programs
    
  • Ability to pass a color vision test for inspecting aviation fuel
    
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
    
  • Ability to perform simple arithmetic
    
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including night, holiday, and weekend shifts
    
  • Preferred: Three to six months experience and/or training in aviation, customer service, or other related field
    
    
    Pay Range: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
