Volt is immediately hiring for Software Engineer in Aurora, CO.
In this role, you can directly impact the world around you and

This is a 12 Month full time Contract or Contract to hire
opportunity.
Active TS/SCI W CI Poly
What you Will Do
Investigate, diagnose, and resolve unexpected system behavior and
anomalies.
Develop, maintain, and enhance operational procedures and technical
documentation.
Monitor and analyze system performance trends to recommend
improvements.
Support and coordinate system maintenance tasks with internal and
external stakeholders.
Provide on-call support for urgent issue resolution and anomaly
troubleshooting.
Qualifications You Must Have
Education:Bachelor's degree in engineering or a scientific
discipline
OR 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Experience:Minimum of 4 years of relevant engineering experience
(12 years without degree)
Required Skills:
Proven background in one or more engineering disciplines (IR, RF,
thermal, digital, etc.)
Experience in:Designing, developing, testing, or operating infrared
(IR) systems
Developing tools and techniques to analyze IR system data
Trending and troubleshooting IR systems
Coordinating and leading technical teams through issue
resolution
Operational skills:Ability to develop and maintain operational
procedures and training materials
Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts and provide on-call support
(1 week every 6-10 weeks)
Technical skills:Familiarity with Linux and scripting (TCL/TK or
PERL)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong communication, presentation, and coordination skills
Experience working in a multi-contractor, badge-less team
environment
Self-starter, able to complete tasks under general supervision
Familiarity with key stakeholders, customers, and IR-related
processes
Qualification We Prefer
Experience with:Engineering change management in large system
environments
RF, power, thermal, or control system design and operations
Programming/scripting proficiency:MATLAB and/or Python
Pay Rate:

several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
etc.
