IBM is searching for a Systems Engineer to support United States
Space Force (USSF)/Space Systems Command (SSC) Cyber Operations
Branch for rapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to
protect, defend, and respond to both ground and space based cyber
adversarial threats. A successful candidate should be a leader and
problem solver with a proven ability to deliver superior results as
part of a high performing team in a fast-paced environment.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited
to:
--- Manages and monitors installed hardware and software systems.
Assists with network tap design and system survey to ensure data is
properly sampled and transported. Evaluates existing systems and
assists with technical refreshs. Lead and/or assist with hardware
installation and software deployment at mission system sites.

in the following programming languages: Python, Linux CLI, bash
scripting
--- Must have CCNA, Security+, CCNP, JNCIS-Sec, JNCDA or
equivalent
--- DoD Secret clearance requiredPreferred Technical and
Professional Expertise--- Relevant DoD and/or Industry work
experience in Space Systems Command

are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The
salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience
and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in

part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to
reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start
