Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coder 3 PRN.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately assign diagnostic and procedural codes with a minimum
95% accuracy rate
Abstract required data into the information system in compliance
with statistical requirements
Resolve coding edits and assist with additional coding
responsibilities as needed
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED and completed course in anatomy and
physiology
Minimum 5 years of acute care inpatient and/or IVR coding
experience
American Health Information Management certification preferred upon
hire
Experience with Epic and 3M preferred
Must maintain a 95% or higher accuracy in coding and DRG
assignment
