A well known hospital is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as the Nurse Director of Perioperative Services. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee all aspects of perioperative care in a state-of-the-art healthcare facility.

The Nurse Director of Perioperative Services will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and collaborate closely with executive leadership and interdisciplinary teams to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
The Perioperative Services department encompasses pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care areas, including surgical suites, recovery rooms, and central sterile processing.
Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize perioperative services and achieve departmental goals.
  
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals within the perioperative team.
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures related to perioperative care.
  
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction.
  
• Manage budgetary resources effectively and monitor financial performance metrics.
  
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in perioperative practices.
  
• Recruit, train, and retain qualified personnel to maintain high standards of care.
  
  A ideal candidate for this position will hold a degree in Nursing. Candidates with progressive leadership experience in perioperative services will earn a quick interview. Applicants should possess strong knowledge of surgical practices, patient care standards, and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a diverse team of healthcare professionals is required.
