CSuite Financial Partners has been engaged by our client, a PE backed professional services company to place a Sr. Tax Manager/General Manager for a Family Office.Location: Denver Metro Area / Hybrid Preferred (relocation available). Remote will be considered on a case-by-case basis.Role Overview:Our client is seeking a Senior Tax Manager / General Manager specializing in Family Office Tax Accounting to join their innovative team.This role holds strategic importance within the firm, focusing on the unique needs of high-net-worth families and partnerships, and plays a vital role in our expansion strategy of integrating specialized tax practices.As part of this role, you will assume leadership within a recently acquired family office and partnership tax practice (most clients $50M - $200M in assets), collaborating with existing leadership to elevate the practice to new heights.The ideal candidate will manage a portfolio of high-value client relationships, engaging in comprehensive tax planning and compliance while actively contributing to business development initiatives.We are looking for a seasoned tax expert who is ready to lead, innovate, and drive business growth in a dynamic environment.This role offers a distinctive opportunity to progress towards partnership and ownership, while managing a profit and loss (P&L) within a rapidly expanding firm.This company is a PE backed rapidly growing leader in the outsourced finance and accounting industry, dedicated to redefining financial management for entrepreneurial ventures and high-net-worth families.Since 2012, the company has built a robust remote-work friendly platform, serving over 1,000 clients with a team of 350+ professionals.Their combined expertise has facilitated clients in raising over $5 billion in equity and debt, showcasing our unwavering commitment to client growth and success.Become part of a dynamic team committed to making a significant impact in the financial landscape of family offices and partnerships.Responsibilities:

  • Direct strategic tax planning and compliance for high-net-worth families and partnerships, ensuring optimal financial outcomes and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Manage and oversee complex tax filings for family offices and partnerships, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying tax-saving opportunities.
  • Cultivate and expand client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner in their financial planning and growth objectives.
  • Actively engage in business development efforts, contributing to the firm's expansion and enhancement of client services tailored to family office and partnership needs.
  • Lead the integration and management of newly acquired family office and partnership tax practices, ensuring seamless transitions and alignment with the firm's standards of excellence.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the organization.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in tax laws related to family office and partnership taxation, leveraging this knowledge to benefit the firm and its clients.Qualifications:
    • Active CPA or EA certification.
    • Preferred (but not required) degrees in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
    • 7 - 15 years of experience in senior tax advisory roles with a focus on family office or UHNW clients, demonstrating a track record of managing client portfolios and driving business development initiatives.
    • Expertise in tax planning, tax compliance, trust planning, and estate planning services.
    • Expert knowledge of relevant federal and state tax codes.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in integrating teams and practices within the family office and partnership tax domain.
    • Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and development, with a desire to progress towards a partnership/ownership role within the firm.Compelling attributes for this role:
